Below are some of the most exciting infill projects currently underway in Calgary. Four are for private clients, while two will be used as long-term rentals owned and managed by Gold Homes Ltd. Please note that all renderings below are based on the drawings but are AI-generated; exact exterior finishes may vary.
Mount Pleasant 4+4 Multiplex (Construction)
In Calgary’s Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, Gold Homes is building a 4-plex infill development with four secondary basement suites, for a total of eight homes. Across the main residences, the four upper units range from approximately 1,235 to 1,244 ft², creating comfortable family-sized homes with a modern multiplex layout.
Below grade, the four secondary suites range from approximately 607 to 613 ft², adding flexible housing options that support both livability and gentle density. The development includes 4,962 ft² of above-grade living space and 2,445 ft² below grade. Built for our valued investor client, this Mount Pleasant multiplex project should be completed by the end of the year at the latest!
Killarney 4+4 Multiplex (Construction)
In Calgary’s Killarney neighbourhood, Gold Homes is currently building another 4-plex infill townhouse development with four secondary basement suites, creating a total of eight homes. Upstairs, the main residences range from about 1,304 to 1,305 ft², offering comfortable, family-sized layouts in a modern multiplex configuration.
Below grade, the basement levels are approximately 633 ft² per unit, accessible from the rear yard. The development includes 5,219 ft² of above-grade living space and 2,531 ft² below grade, along with a 784 ft² four-car garage. Altogether, this Killarney project, built for our valued client, reflects a well-organized infill development designed to add new housing within one of Calgary’s established neighbourhoods.
Garrison Woods 3+3 Multiplex (Excavation)
In Calgary’s Garrison Woods neighbourhood, Gold Homes just finished excavation for a thoughtfully designed 3-plex rowhouse with three secondary basement suites, bringing a total of six homes to this sought-after inner-city site. The three main residences range from approximately 1,345 to 1,368 ft² above-grade, offering spacious, family-friendly layouts that fit naturally within a modern infill format.
Below grade, the secondary suites range from approximately 644 to 656 ft², adding flexible housing options that support both livability and gentle density in an established neighbourhood. Altogether, the development includes 4,066 ft² of above-grade living space and 1,951 ft² below grade, along with a 749.4 ft² three-car detached garage and mobility storage. With rooftop solar PV panels also planned as part of the project, Gold Homes is excited to complete this project, likely during spring of 2027, for our valued investor client.
Thorncliffe 4+4 Multiplex (Construction)
In Calgary’s Thorncliffe neighbourhood, Gold Homes is building a 4-plex townhouse infill development with four secondary basement suites, bringing a total of eight homes to this ideally located inner-city lot. The four primary residences range from approximately 1,109 to 1,213 ft², offering efficient family-oriented layouts with a modern infill design.
At the lower level, the secondary suites range from approximately 409 to 423 ft², adding flexible housing options that support both livability and secondary income generation. Altogether, the project includes 4,645 ft² of above-grade living space and 2,407 ft² below grade, along with an 880 ft² four-car garage. This Thorncliffe multiplex project is another example of Gold Homes’ commitment to thoughtful, high-quality infill housing for our valued client.
Hillhurst 6+6 Townhouse (Construction)
What started as a 9-unit townhome complex has become a 6+6 after revisions through the city’s development permit process. Three units have indoor parking stalls, while the remaining units will rely on walkability and street parking. This project will remain under Gold Homes ownership and will begin leasing as construction nears completion.
Tenants will enjoy easy access to restaurants, shops, and services along 19th Street NW, at North Hill Mall, and east in the Kensington District. Reach the Bow River and its network of pathways in a short five- to ten-minute walk south when living at Hillhurst Gate towns!
Parkdale 4+4 Multiplex (Construction)
Another Gold Homes rental project, Parkdale features four three-storey townhouses with rooftop balconies adjacent to the Bow River pathways on 3rd Avenue NW. Below, the multiplex also features four basement suites, each with a bedroom, bathroom, and living room/kitchen area, as well as a private concrete patio.
Not too far from our Hillhurst project on 19th Street NW (mentioned above), residents will enjoy walkability to amenities such as Lazy Loaf and Kettle, the river, Edworthy Park, and the Kensington District about 15 to 20 minutes to the east. A short drive to downtown and the mountains, this project is set to be in high demand once completed in the coming months!
